Charlie and the chocolate factory

On Thursday the 19th of December 2006 our annual Christmas play took place. Everyone participated. The name of the play was Charlie and the chocolate factory. Everyone had a very important job. That night, the younger classes, fourth and down sang songs. the senior classes, (fifth and sixth) acted in the play and sang songs. We went down to the hall every Monday to practise. The play was a great success and everybody enjoyed themselves, (especially the audience!!!).

Me
I'm like a soft toy
Warm and sweet
I'm a circus
Fun and vibrant
I'm a volcano
Explosive and magnificent.

I'm like and orange
Bright, sweet and tangy

Soft and sweet on the inside

Fun but searching for a solution.

I'm able to kick the ball afar
I can score a goal or drive it over the bar
I'm like a premiership ace
Full of pace
I've been playing for years
Still get lots of cheers.

Our Poems For Mother's Day

My Mother is like a star
She is so bright, she lights my life.
Her eyes shine bright most during the night.
She watches over me.
She is so heavenly.
She is my Mammy.
by Emma Dolan
My Mam is like a star
She watches over me with shinning eyes.
She is so heavenly bright.
She is so bright she guides me through the rough patches of life.
